I am a geoscientist with a background in structural geology, geotechnics and seismic interpretation. My work sits at the intersection of geology and physics. I am interested in how folds, faults, slopes and entire mountain belts behave as mechanical systems shaped by stress, strength and time. This blog explores the structures of the Earth through clear concepts, simple physical models and practical geological reasoning. I write about interpretation, rock mechanics, geotechnics and the physics of mountains, always grounded in real data and real rocks.
